What Is Faith Promise?
Faith Promise is a personal commitment to give above and beyond our regular tithes and offerings to partner in local and global missions through our church. It is a step of faith that God will provide the resources He puts on your heart to give.
Your Faith Promise is confidential. Only you and God know your commitment. Once the total amount of all commitments is added up to form our missions budget, the individual cards are discarded. Through these faith-filled promises, we partner together to share Christ’s love around the world.
Section Title
How It Works
We use the term "above and beyond our regular tithes and offerings" because at Foothills we have two funnels of giving.
The first funnel is our General Fund. Our regular giving keeps Foothills operating. Our children’s ministry, Sunday services, staff, building, everything is funded through our General Fund.
Faith Promise is a second funnel that goes directly to missionaries and gospel work outside our doors. It is “pass-through” giving—none of it stays here, and sometimes at the end of the year we even get to surprise missionaries with extra gifts.
